A little history
At the beginning of 2019, my family and I opened a studio apartment for short-term rentals called Küpal Departamentos. Over the following years, we were able to open two more apartments: a two-bedroom apartment and another studio apartment. With the experience I’d gained and all the obstacles I saw with online booking platforms, I decided to open the website “Hospedajes en San Juan” (Lodgings in San Juan). It has now become the most visited website in the province of San Juan. Given our extensive network of contacts with tourism professionals, we have opened the “Barbecue Rentals with Pool” and “Experiences” categories.

We share different activities with the entrepreneurial and tourist community
At one of the most important tourism industry events in San Juan, we were selected to exhibit at Tecnovatur 2024, focusing on online booking platforms. This event is entirely organized by final-year students of the Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism at the UNSJ.

We believe it is very important to stay up to date, so we are telling you about the courses and workshops we have held.

Win to Win
We have created a community on WhatsApp to benefit and take care of each other.
On April 15, 2022, we created a WhatsApp group in which we seek to help each other among property owners and managers. The objectives are as follows:
– To notify and alert each other of cases of fraud or theft.
– To provide a quick solution to the lack of hotel rooms in the province of San Juan.
– To promote tourism, gastronomic activities, financing options, etc.
We usually like to meet once a month to keep up with the latest developments in the industry and share anecdotes.

Recognitions
In this small section we are going to share with you something very nice that happened to us in 2023.
On December 19, 2023, at the year-end dinner of all the tourism chambers in the province of San Juan, we were recognized for the work we have been doing for several years. Among these awards are:
– Training workshops for owners and managers.
– Advice to various stakeholders in the tourism industry (merchants, owners, governments, etc.).
– Dissemination of digital content on tourist attractions throughout San Juan.
– High participation in the Chamber of Tourism Service Providers (CaPreTur).
– Collaboration in hosting scammed tourists.
– Event organization (English Exchange).
This award was presented by the new Minister of Tourism of San Juan, Dr. Guido Romero.
Objectives and Goals
I seek to remain positioned as a provincial benchmark in the management and administration of tourist properties; and as the best tourism website in the province of San Juan.
